Mission: To proactively address ongoing and emerging occupational safety and health issues affecting U.S. agriculture.
Strategic Goals:

Pursue a national strategy to reduce disease, injuries and fatalities in agriculture.

Improve communication among farmers/ranchers, agribusinesses, agricultural safety specialists and professional safety and health organizations.

Influence research priorities to rapidly identify best management practices for worker safety and health that maximize cost efficiency and sustainability.

Facilitate the implementation of evidence-based safety strategies among agricultural workers.

Guide the development of effective delivery systems for safety and health information to farmers/ranchers and their workers.

Engage farmers/ranchers at all levels to promote personalized values of safety and health among workers and family members.
